Description

If you are looking for a resource that lets you scaffold and address multiple skills in the early alphabetic and later alphabetic phases, then this is for you!

Providing students with activities to practice building their knowledge of phonemic awareness assists in learning to read.

This resource is designed to be used in a multitude of ways to teach and reinforce the necessary skills at the early alphabetic phase (syllable work, onset-rime, initial phoneme recognition and matching) and the later alphabetic phase (segmenting + blending of phonemes) in a way that allows you to easily scaffold instruction.

This is a favorite game with my students (PK-1). I have used these with my students in dyslexia therapy, and the students love the catchy chant and the activities included.

This resource includes:

  • A fun Bubble-Gum Chant anchor chart - so fun!
  • Individual student anchor chant cards
  • 60 picture cards designed for moving from early alphabetic phase to later alphabetic phase
  • Speech to Print work mat
  • BONUS - fun bubble gum letter tiles
