The first page is the scoring page where you will note individual student responses and scores for each area. Students are given their own pages where they are first prompted to read and pronounce isolated phonemes (letter combinations or patterns) then you can opt to have them try and say the words with the phonemes in context.

r and l controlled vowels
blends (2 letters)
clusters (3 letter blends)
common word endings/suffixes.
Finally, the irregular sounds made by ie and ei are assessed with teaching points included to help students who struggle with these sounds.
This assessment is correlated to a match a developmentally appropriate teaching order for phonics taught or mastered in each grade level. It also covers the Common Core Foundational Reading Skills Standards for grade K-5 and as well as the previous alignment with the old California State Standards for K-5.
