This teacher tool is a checklist that can be used for individual children to monitor the mastery of phonological and phonemic awareness skills! The list is a continuum, with skills listed in a progressive order. This allows teachers to know what skills should be mastered next. Teachers can place dates in the boxes beside certain skills when mastery is observed for record keeping purposes. This would be a great tool for kindergarten teachers or primary teachers working with students in the RtI process and intervention.
