Phonemic Awareness Task Cards - Blending 3 Sounds FREEBIE

Reading starts with your ears! Being able to blend phonemes given orally is an essential prerequisite skill students need to be able to read. Some students pick this up quickly, however when they struggle, then what? Using picture support choices is a great way to help students practice blending. 

In this Task Cards FREEBIE, you will receive 15 cards, each with 6 pictures. When you give the student the word in a segmented fashion, they will need to blend the word and the 6 picture supports will help give them some options. In addition, you will also get 6 student blending cards which give them the tactile support of being able to touch each dot while saying each sound and then slide their finger along the arrow below to blend.
