This packet was designed to help students learn the distinction between the /k/ sound and the /g/ sound at the end of a word.
The first activity in this packet is a sorting activity where students sort words according to whether they end like bag or they end like sock. No letters are present on the cards so students must rely on the spoken word and sound to match the words appropriately. (pp 2-4)
The second activity is a set of clip cards where students must clip the word the accurately depicts the picture. (pp 5-10)
The third activity are cut and paste sheets where students will cut out the pictures and glue them next to the appropriate word (pp 11-14)
The fourth activity consist of 3 sentence sorts where students will complete the sentences and then illustrate the sentence they formed. (pp. 15-17)
