Bundle Description

My students love these simple card games. I find they stay more attentive and will read other players cards when there are “lose a turn” or “draw again” cards in the deck. It’s a very easy card game to play in a small group or to place in a station. There are pages of CVC, CCVC, CVCe, r controlled vowel words, just choose the pages that best fit your needs. I played these as warm-ups to guided reading groups or as a reward at the end of teacher table groups.

To play: students draw one card at a time from the deck until the deck is gone. The person with the most cards wins.
