This ready to go phonics center is a fun and engaging routine that will carry you through much of the school year.
All students need to practice making words is one of these sheet, a pair of scissors, and some glue. It is independent work at it’s best.
Making Words Center
This is a center I made to go with the systematic sequential phonics that works program. I have used this in my classroom and have seen amazing growth in my students' abilities with decoding words. I highly recommend the program for your classroom.
This center is designed to accompany the systematic sequential phonics program in your classroom.
Students review the lessons they completed during the first 24 days of school in an independent practice center. I generally start this center in February, and have students go to it once a week for the rest of the school year. If you need more days I have also included an editable form you can use to create more days of lessons.
