Description

Phonics Flips are a great way for your student to practice decoding 40 different short 'o' word! This set of flash cards includes a mix of CVC and VC words. These are great for use in reading groups, literacy work stations, small group or private tutoring, on Montessori classroom shelves, or with homeschooled children.

Each card has a large clear word and memorable picture on the back. The pictures reinforce learning and allow a child practicing alone to be sure they have blended the sounds into a word correctly (designed to be printed upside down, so they're easy to flip up!). Tricky-to-illustrate words, such as 'not' and 'lot' include short sentences with the word in context.

Bonus! This product includes an editable Word document with 10 common short 'o' names, like Bob, Tom, and Ron, so you can create your own cards with customized pictures of friends or relatives.
