Phonics Four in a Row by DonutsThenTeach
These games are low maintenance; just print on colored paper and they are ready to go! No need for fancy supplies, you just need some counters or mini erasers and a die and you are good to go. Your students will love this fun activity that practices building word fluency. These games make a great center or activity for small group word work (RTI, guided reading) or use these for fast finishers!
The whole purpose of the game is to get “four in a row.” Student 1 will roll the die, they will read the word under the column of the number they rolled (columns are labeled #1-5). If they can correctly read the word, they will place their counter on the word. Keep playing until a student has four in a row either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
This set includes game boards for long vowels. All five vowels are included in this download. Looking for more phonics four in a row games? Check out my growing bundle!
