Phonics Interactive notebooks are a great hands-on way for students to practice phonics/spelling patterns! This interactive phonics/spelling notebook is for r-controlled vowels.
Most r-controlled vowels have 2 differentiated lists and comes with 4 activities! Students color, cut, and glue the activity into their notebook.
R-Controlled Vowels Include: ar, or, ore, er, ir, and ur.
Phonics Interactive Notebook Activities:
Activity #1
Students match pictures with the correct vowel sound or word. Students will glue the picture underneath the vowel sound or word flap.
Activity #2
Students color each word and picture. Then, students can write the word underneath the flap. Next, students read each sentence and highlight the specific phonics/spelling skill. Finally, students write the highlighted words underneath the flap.
Activity #3
Students read and sort the words with the correct word family. Students will glue the words underneath the correct word family flap.
Activity #4
