This phonics pack for Ii is just ready to print and go. There are posters, sound cards, worksheets and a small reader.

There are lots of packs around for phonics, sounds and letters – so why this one? I have been teaching sounds/letters for almost 30 years and this is what works for me. This is the fifth in a series of packs to help make connections that are engaging and ensure connections happen and are sustained. Pre test your grade so that you know which letters/sounds each student needs to be taught.

Contents - this pack contains pages for USA spelling and pages for non USA spelling. Please print the relevant pages for you.

Sound Cards - These sound cards can be used in many ways. Use for display

Ask students to group them and ask why they have made the groups they have. Discuss definitions. Write about how we use these objects – where we find them, who uses them. Discuss ending sounds. Use for spelling. Count syllables.
