Let’s Look at Letters and Sounds for ‘Ii’
There are lots of packs around for phonics, sounds and letters – so why this one? I have been teaching sounds/letters for almost 30 years and this is what works for me. This is the fifth in a series of packs to help make connections that are engaging and ensure connections happen and are sustained. Pre test your grade so that you know which letters/sounds each student needs to be taught.
Contents - this pack contains 28 pages for USA font and spelling and 28 pages for Aus font and spelling. Please print the relevant pages for you – total 62 pages
Each section has an explanation page

Ask students to group them and ask why they have made the groups they have. Discuss definitions. Write about how we use these objects – where we find them, who uses them. Discuss ending sounds. Use for spelling. Count syllables.
