This packet is designed to focus on rhyming words. There is three copies per page to help you save on papers and copies. Students can cut pictures, color them, and sort them based on rhyme scheme. These pictures will fit inside of piece of construction paper. Simply fold the paper in half hamburger style. Cut three flaps in the top of the construction paper. Glue the ‘Rhymes With’ indicator on the outside. Then you are ready to sort.
Students sort words based on rhyme scheme. The words they rhyme with are from the Dolch word list, thus giving them a chance to further practice pesky sight words. There are 27 total words that students can rhyme with. If you rhyme with three words at a time that will give you a chance to make NINE different foldables!
Most words have five pictures that rhyme, but there are a few words that have only four rhyming pictures. Rhymes offered are not always found in the same word family. For example, me and key.
