These phonics posters are a great way to provide a visual, repetition, and anchor chartsto learn about phonics sounds and spellings patterns.
I use them during guided reading lessons to focus on a specific phonics skill. You could also post them on the wall for students to see regularly. I've placed mine in sheet protectors inside binders and put one binder with each group. If students finish their work early I have them read through the binder. You can also have set up a literacy center specifically where students read through these sheets and write about a word using a spelling pattern they learned about.
This is an absolutely great resource to use as daily RTI and intervention if students need to work on reading and writing short vowel words.
I have many parents ask for more resources to use at home. Feel free the pages home for parents to create their own binder to enjoy at home as well.
This posters directly correlate with spelling, reading and phonics standards.
These posters are perfect for introducing short vowel spelling patterns.
