This phonics puzzles bundle offers your little learners an engaging way to practice beginning consonants, short vowels, long vowels, blends, and digraphs. This resource provides 55 puzzles to address beginning sounds. The initial hard sound of C and G are addressed. The X puzzle addresses the ending sound of X. Each 5 piece puzzle has a center piece with a capital and lower case letter, blend, or digraph printed in an age appropriate font. There are four surrounding pieces with a color picture associated with the initial sound. The puzzle pieces are large enough to be easily manipulated by little learners. The completed puzzles are approximately 7.5 inches X 7.5 inches.
These puzzles will work with any phonics program you are using. Each one is a separate activity, not dependent upon having taught any other sounds. You can pull out the puzzles you need for whichever sounds you are addressing on any particular day.
