UPDATED: JANUARY 2017
*** American and Australian spelling included ***
These pages have been extracted from my Phonics Letter of the Week MEGA BUNDLE
and combined into a separate packet here. If you have already purchased the Mega Bundle, please DO NOT purchase this!
About this book:
This unit contains 26 Kindergarten (Prep) phonics reading homework pages. The aim is to help children identify letter sounds in different positions of words (initial, medial and final). Each page can be kept in a plastic sleeve in a take-home binder, or stapled together to form a booklet.
Directions for use:
Children can begin by finger tracing the letter at the top left of the page. They then move on to the numbered tasks that require them to:
1. Say the sound made by the focus letter, identifying the initial, medial and final sound position of the focus sound
2. Identify known words that contain the focus sound
3. Read predominantly CVC words that use the focus sound/letter
Children are asked complete each page more than once, and each time they do, they are required to color a picture at the top of the page.
Happy Teaching :)
