If you use a structured phonics program with your kiddos as I do, you know they need to consistently practice those phonics sounds and rules they have learned in order to retain this information and use it when needed. You also know that your students need to be able to decode the word efficiently and quickly in order to comprehend when reading. Thus, my phonics and fluency strips were born.

I do use a structured phonics program with my intervention kids. And while we review the phonics rules learned daily, this is a super fun and quick way that they can review them with or without myself or another adult present. This product includes 40 different phonics rule sheets with four identical phonics strips on each page. Each strip has a sound at the top and eleven words below which utilize the sound. Simply duplicate these strips on card stock and laminate them for durability. You can put them all in a container and students can pull them out and practice them from the top to the bottom. I will add the various sounds taught to my basket as they are learned so they are all review for my students.
