❇ ❇This set is for❇ ❇

Teachers that want spelling patterns to make sense. I created this product when I realized that the alphabetic word wall wasn’t really useful to my students. They could hear the beginning letter in a word but they got stuck farther on. What did they do when they heard a long a? Was it ai, ay, or a-e? Could I help them find a way to learn that ai comes in the middle of a word and ay at the end? I quickly tried with a few sounds and saw their spelling ability explode.

❄ ❄ Here’s what you’ll get in this set: ❄ ❄

Color coded sound cards. This means that all patterns that sound the same … are the same color. Use this to help kids find the patterns in sounds.
Both common and uncommon patterns are included and the wall is equally successful if you introduce all or some of the sounds.
