Each page includes two days worth of practice work for each of the following sounds:
The pages have three boxes. 1) Review words with sounds students have already learned. 2) A sentence. 3) New sounds with words that contain that day's new sound. The pages are meant to be done in order, as the review on the top uses sounds from previous pages.
I use the SFA Fast Track Phonics program in my first grade classroom, but I always have students who are ready to learn more advanced sounds beyond those covered by the program. I made this document to solve this problem. It is formatted to look similar to the SFA workbooks that my students are used to using. I have included it here as a word document in case you would like to alter it to fit your own needs.
The small boxes along the side are for students to initial each time they have practiced reading. After they have all boxes initialed, I allow them to sign up for a phonics test with me in which they read me the entire page.
