Phonics Write and Wipe: letters and decodable words
UPDATED: JANUARY 2017
These pages have been extracted from my Phonics Letter of the Week MEGA BUNDLE
and combined into a separate packet here. If you have already purchased the Mega Bundle, please DO NOT purchase this!
About this book:
This book contains a set of 26 tracing cards, one for each letter of the alphabet. Children begin by finger tracing the upper and lower case letter at the top of the page.
Directions for use:
To prepare the cards for use in a Write and Wipe center with an erasable marker or crayon, print the pages and laminate. Alternatively, after printing, put the pages into plastic sleeves and store them in a binder. Children can use erasable markers or crayons on the plastic sleeves too.
Next, they trace the 2 rows of letters with an erasable marker or crayon, the word at the bottom of the page and then they read and trace the decodable words on the right side of the page. One the first card, children practice writing upper case letters, on the second lower case letters and on the third card, children practice writing both upper and lower case letters.
Happy Teaching :)
