Are you looking for ways to get your preschool and kindergarten kiddos up and moving while they are engaged in meaningful phonics activities? Write the Room is a perfect way to do both! They will have a ball walking around your classroom hunting for the beginning sound pictures you've hung and recording each one they find!

Save 25% when you purchase my bundle of beginning sound Write the Room activities!

This Write the Room set gives you lots of options, so differentiation is a snap! Here's what's included:

10 Picture Cards: ball, bat, bear, bed, bee, bell, button, balloon, bone, bus
Two Word Card Sets: Choose cards with pictures only or with pictures and words
Three Recording Sheets: Choose to have your kiddos record by coloring the matching picture, tracing the word, or writing the word
Two Printing Options: Choose full color or black & white

Do you need a different option for using this activity? No worries! Here are some variations that let your kiddos practice the same skill without moving around the room:
▶️ Put the cards in a sensory bin and have your kiddos record the ones they find.
▶️ Put the cards in a feely box and have your kiddos record the one they pull out.
▶️ Put the cards in a gift bag and have your kiddos record the one they pull out.
▶️ Put the cards face down on the table and have your kiddos record the one they turn over.
▶️ Print two sets of cards and make a matching game. Have your kiddos record the matches they make.

The possibilities are endless! Use your imagination and let your kiddos have some fun while they're learning basic phonics skills!
