This is a bundle of 25 Evan Moor Phonics and Literacy Centers. They are laminated and have been used lightly. This is not a digital download these are hard goods that will be shipped to you.
Some of these centers can be used in groups or as a class.

Super Sentence Sort – Explains different kinds of sentences and asks the student to lay out the question cards. They will read the word and phrase cards and place them in the correct category. They will take one card from each category and write a super sentence. Worksheets are included.
Alphabetical Order – Child will choose a set of cards and write it down. Will then place words in alphabetical order to make a sentence. Worksheets are included.
Top Ten - Top ten list is a list with items or ideas numbered in the order of how much you like them (10 being the least favorite of all). The student will choose a top ten category card and write in down and work their way through all the cards until completed.
They Sound the Same – Explains what homophones are and asks students to choose a set of task cards and write the number down. They will then choose a pair of homophones and find the two sentence cards in which the homophones fit. Finally, they will write down each word pair and their matching sentence numbers.
As Busy as a Bee! – Explains what a simile is. Child will read a sentence card then choose the simile card that completed the second sentence. Worksheets are included.
It’s in the Mail – Nine postcards arrive in the mail and it is the students’ duty to figure out who sent each postcard by reading the clues in each card.
Synonyms – Explains what synonyms are and asks the student to choose a set of task cards. Then, they will match the cards to make synonym pairs and write them down.
Antonyms – Explains what antonyms are and ask student to choose a set of task cards then they will match the cards to make antonym pairs on the answer form.
Fairy-Tale Riddles – Explains what a riddle is and asks the student to choose a set of task cards. Each riddle would be read and the student will try their best to match it to the character it describes. On the answer form, they will write the name of the character next to the number of the riddle card.
Real or Make Believe? – Explains about different kinds of stories. Student will take sentence cards and an answer form. Will read each card and decide whether it’s real or make-believe and mark it on their answer sheet.
Can You Spell It? – Student will take word cards out of envelope and choose a card and name the picture. They will pick the missing letters to correctly spell the word. Turning the card will let them check their answers.
Book or Moon? – The student will take the moon and book sorting mats and word cards out of the envelope. As they read the words, they will listen for the vowel sound and place the word cards on the correct sorting mats. Turning over the cards will allow them to check their answers.
Fill It In – Student will take on sentence card out of envelope and take four word cards that are the same color. They will read each sentence and find the word that goes in the box. Turn over the cards to check the answers.
Word Family Riddles – Child will pick one riddle card and read it to find the word that answers it. Turning over the cards will allow them to check their answers.
More Than One – All the sorting pockets and words should be displayed. Take the ‘’add s’’ pocket and find all of the word cards that follow that rule. Student will then take all the cards that follow the rule on each sorting pocket until all cards are depleted. Turn over the cards to check the answers.
Make a New Word – The student will take the prefix mat and the prefix cards then will add the prefixes to the words on the mat to make new words. Take the suffix mat and suffix cards and add the suffixes to the words to make new words.
More than one – Explains what singular and plural mean. The students will match each singular word card with its plural form. Then they will look at the plural word cards and decide what change was made to each word to make it plural. Then they will set each plural word card in the correct category on the sorting mat.
Can You Hear It? – Child will take a card and look at the colored letter and fine the mat with the same letter. When the student says the word if they do not hear the sound of that letter, they will place the card on the silent part of the mat otherwise they will place it on the not silent part of the mat.
Syllable Count – Student will take the labels and word cards out of the envelope and put the labels in a row. Then, student will listen for the number of parts in the word placing the card below the correct label. They should finish placing the cards below the correct labels and turn over the cards to check their answers.
It’s a puzzle – Student will gather all puzzle pieces and place them to the side. They will read the words on the puzzle pieces and listen for the sound of the letter ch. They will then place the pieces with the correct circle. They will continue to place the pieces together until they find all six pieces for all three puzzles.
Sound Wheels – As the student reads the words they will listen for the sound the colored letter. Then, they will place the cards on the correct sound wheel and in the correct section. Turning the card will reveal if their answer is correct.
Rhyming Riddles – The student will read a riddle and find the two word cards that answer the riddle. Turning the cards will allow them to check their answers.
Then or Thin? – The student will listen for the sound of th as they read each word then they will ask themselves if they hear the th from then or thin. While they say each word they will place the cards below the correct label. Turning over the cards will allow them to check their answers.
The Right Ending – Child will find the word that has the ending spelled correctly and put a paperclip on the correct word. Turning over the cards will reveal if the answers are correct.
What’s Missing – The child will take on picture card and name the picture and look at the word. Then, they will find the letter card that contains the missing sound and place it on the picture card. Turning over the cards will reveal the answer.
