This mini-unit teaches students when to add the inflectional ending -ING to words with no other changes, as in singing, melting, and barking. It is intended for use AFTER students have learned the rules for doubling the final consonant (ex: running) and dropping the (ex: driving). Students will practice reading and spelling these words with worksheets, games, foldables, and more.
