Developing a child's "Phonological Awareness" is an important part of developing a "Good Reader." Young children's ability to identify "Rhymes" is an important component of "Phonological Awareness."
This product was designed to use in your classroom. I use it with my Pre-K class during ”circle time,” “small group,” and when students are at “Learning Centers.” This is both fun and educational. This resource will help reinforce listening to and identifying words that rhyme.
The printable worksheets can be used in the classroom or sent home for extra practice.
I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating before using them with your class. I hope you and your class enjoys using these rhyming strips.
