Description

Could you use a phonological awareness card program that is quick and easy to implement?  This Phonological Awareness Card Program has picture cards that give students a quick skill review.  Review includes counting syllables and blending or segmenting sounds as well as practicing the beginning / middle or ending sounds of words and also producing rhyming words. Using a separate set of rhyming word picture cards students may also practice identifying rhyme.  This Phonological Awareness Program is easy to use - simply cut apart the picture cards and covers then organize by month. The card sets may be put on rings, magnets or placed in containers or pocket charts. Codes are found on the bottom of the cards that give a visual reminder of the skills being taught. During your phonological awareness instruction use the cards as visuals to help both you and your students as you drill the desired skills. A video is included with tips and tricks on how to best implement skill practice.  There are 480 picture cards in this set.  They include a mix of seasonal, thematic cards and picture cards representing short vowel and long vowel words.  The phonological awareness activities in this resource are perfect for whole class instruction, small group instruction, intervention or RTI. Your pre-k, kindergarten  and 1st grade students will love rhyming ( producing and identifying ), counting the syllables in words, segmenting and blending sounds and practicing beginning sounds / middle sounds and ending sounds using this phonological awareness program.  The activities in this packet also work well for students of any age who may be struggling mastering their phonological awareness skills.
