Thank you for looking at this unit. This is meant to be a quick and easy review for whole or small group. I've included four covers so you can group by difficulty if you want to. For example, if you have a group working on blending, you can put cards that have blending on that ring. I printed the entire set on cardstock, laminated them, and punched wholes in the corner of each card. Then, I mixed up the cards and put them on four rings. I have a set by the calendar/group area, one by our classroom door (to grab as we walk out for a quick/quiet line activity), and one at my teacher table for when I am working with small groups. If you take five minutes throughout the day to practice these cards, it will help your students with phonological awareness. These cards are meant for read and respond, meaning you (the teacher) reads them and the students answers. This set includes beginning, middle, and ending sounds, blending, syllables, deleting initial and final sounds, sentence word count, rhyming, and stretching words. There are several examples of each so you can differentiate based on your students’ needs. These are in color but will look fine printed in black and white too.
