**UPDATE JULY 2022: Added books for medial and final blends, including the following: medial st/sk/sp, final sk/st/ts/ks/, medial fl/gl, final ld/lt, and medial br/cr/dr/fr/pr/tr. PLEASE NOTE: Some of the books only have 5 target words, as it's difficult to find pictures for a lot of these words.
If you are familiar with the cycles approach for phonology, you know that you cycle through different targets. If you would like more information on this approach, please visit this website. The books included in this packet are loosely based upon this approach. This packet targets Cluster Reduction (initial, medial and final). There are 16 books! They are repetitive and also have basic concepts that can be targeted. These would be great for story retell as well!
To Prepare: Print and laminate the pages. There are 2 pages on each slide. Attach all pages with a ring. Hole punch each circle. There are 100 holes (10 on each page, 5 per word) in each book, which means that you can get up to 100 trials by simply reading the book! The student will touch each hole as they produce the word. Each page has two words with the target sound, so the student needs to say each word (target words are underlined) 5 times. After you read the sentence, have the student produce each word 5 times.
