Includes the Following Tasks:

  • Auditory Discrimination using Minimal Pairs

Say a word and have the student point to the word you say. To get the most of this activity, do 5 rounds per minimal pair set. When students are working on production, use these same minimal pairs and tell the students that they are the SLP now and point to the word that they say. If they say the word using the phonological processing error, have them repeat the appropriate word using their good sounds. Once you complete 5 rounds, hit the next button to move on to the next minimal pair set. When using this during teletherapy, follow the same steps; however, to show which word they hear, give the student control of the screen and have them point the mouse tracker at the word that they hear.

  • Auditory Bombardment pictures with words

Students listen and watch as you provide them with the auditory bombardment words. You move back to the main screen of snowballs or snowflakes by hitting the back button and the next snowball or snowflake. When you have provided all 15 auditory bombardment words hit the back button on the page with the 15 snowballs or snowflakes and it will return you to the main list of activities for that specific phonological processing error pattern. If you hit the home button it will return you to the main page with all of the process error patterns.

  • Rhyming (work on Phonological Awareness too!)
  • Wh-Questions (work on vocabulary too!)
  • Create a Scene (great for narration tasks too)
