Use this packet to teach your students how to use research skills to analyze photos! This packet is designed for groups of students to analyze a photo from somewhere around the world (without knowing where it is!) and record their observations (step 1), their inferences about the place (step 2), think about who might want to visit this place and what kind of trip they might have there (step 3), and finally write a sales pitch to convince someone to visit (step 4)! Not telling the students where their photos are from keeps them using their research skills to determine things from the photo (and it's fun to let them guess at the end).
This packet is great to use for library lessons or in the classroom!
Note: photos not included.
