Photo Language Prompts

This product is 30 real picture cards meant to teach a variety of language skills. The real photographs are perfect for our students with ASD and related disorders. Use these photo language prompts to teach:

Target a variety of expressive and receptive language concepts!
Receptive language: “Point to the firefighter.”
Expressive language: “What is happening in the picture?”
WH Questions: “Where is the boy?” “Who is holding the dog?”
Inferences: “How does she feel?”
Verbs: “What is he doing?”
Prediction: “Where will she go next?”
Pronouns: He/she/they

Each picture comes with a story prompt on the front of the card. Students can read the prompt and finish the story with their own ideas. Students can also work on describing what they see in the picture as well. A page is included with a list of question prompts to ask with the photo cards.

Print on cardstock and laminate cards for durability.
