Photos – Types of Shoes
48 photos of different types of men and women’s shoes:
This set of 48 shoe images show each from the front as well one turned to the side so that you can see the type of sole each shoe has. The file name has an M in front if it is a man’s shoe and a W if it is a woman’s shoe. No letter if either a man or woman could wear it. To make it easier the file name describes the shoe (MDressShoe) These original high quality photos were taken by me and may be used for your private and commercial use.
These photos are good for teaching about the different types of shoes worn based on the activity the person is doing, the weather, or if they were inside or outside. How do you put these shoes on, the ways the shoes are secured (zipper, tie, buckle or slip on). Do they look comfortable, slippery on the bottom or hard to get on and off. Ideas for use would be writing prompt such as where would you go in these shoes or what would someone be doing if they were wearing this particular shoe. Lessons incorporating weather and the types of shoes that would be worn in different weather. Where would you wear these shoes (beach, climbing rocks, playing in the snow) is another example. Discuss the different materials used to make each shoe.
If you would like to see a similar set of photos with the different types of shoes kids would wear, please send me an email or use the Ask a Question form.
