This lesson allows your students to have a little fun with Adobe Photoshop. The tutorial has students modify a photo of a well-known celebrity by inserting images and formatting them to look like real life tattoos. Along the way students learn such basic Photoshop functions as the Move Tool, Warp Transform, Gaussian Blur Filter, Blending Mode, and much more. After working through the tutorial, students are required to select an image of their own and add fake tattoos to it. This lesson is loads of fun for all students! My students love it so much that they will spend extra time before and after school adding tattoos to their favorite artist, athlete, family member, etc.
This lesson assumes students have never used Photoshop. Instructions are included Photoshop CS3 and CS6, and can be easily adjusted for use with any version of the software. Offered in .docx format to allow you to edit and personalize the instructions to meet the needs of your class/course.
Don't bother with poorly written tutorials on the Internet that you can't edit - download, modify, and use this lesson with your students today! Enjoy!
