Guided Notes are meant to get students to listen, be active during the notes by asking questions, and answering questions throughout the notes. It is a way to get students to be active in the classroom while presenting information in a more efficient way than a standard lecture.
The photosynthesis guided notes covers major concepts of photosynthesis including autotrophs/heterotrophs, chemical energy and ATP, photosynthesis equation, light and pigments, the chloroplast, light-dependent reactions, and the Calvin Cycle.
There are two sections in these guided notes and includes follow-up questions for students as well as two graphs in which students must analyze data. The notes also include various diagrams explaining hard concepts like the light-dependent reactions and the Calvin Cycle.
