Product Description
Nature is amazing! How does it do what it does? Why are plants green?
It's all about the chloroplast! So...let's 'be' the chloroplast and see what happens.
Students use K'nex building pieces to represent atoms used in the photosynthesis process. The K'nex atoms are combined to create molecules.

Step 1: The student is given (absorbs) 6 "K'nex" carbon dioxide molecules and 6 "K'nex" water molecules

Step 2: The student disassembles the molecules

Step 3: The student uses the "K'nex" atoms to build (then store and release) 1 glucose molecule and 6 oxygen molecules

Learning through doing is so much fun!
