This worksheet covers the process of photosynthesis in autotrophs. A diagram is included to illustrate where photosynthesis takes place – in the leaf, in the plant cell, and in the chloroplast. Students must write in the general formula for photosynthesis to show what products are needed and what materials are given off. Then the formula will be written as a balanced equation. Questions are provided so that students can think through the formula and understand the process. This worksheet can be incorporated into a lesson and the students fill it out as the teacher provides information or can be used as a worksheet to practice the information learned in class and from the textbook.
