Not only is this a great variation on traditional charades, but it is also a great game to play when working on idioms. The makings for seventy idiom cards are included here.
How to make cards:
Load your printer with seven sheets of 2x4 shipping label stickers and print. Transfer the labels to seventy index cards and you are ready to go.
How to use the cards:
Students draw a card and have to silently act out the idiom. Another variation is to play the game like Pictionary. Students would draw an idiom card and have to draw it on the board for their team to guess. You could also combine the two options and let them either act or draw. No matter your choice.... great fun is promised!
