Description
This free PDF is a really simple product: a printable PDF handout including a bunch of Shakespeare phrases you've probably heard laid out in alphabetical order. Use it to introduce Shakespeare units and create a sense of relevance for students who may feel that the 400-year-old language is disconnected from their lives.
This sheet includes turns of phrase (Break the ice, forever and a day, in a pickle, dead as a doornail) and not vocabulary words, of which he also coined hundreds.
