Product Description
This teacher-led activity is great for Science TEKS 2.5A (classify matter by physical properties, including shape, relative mass, relative temperature, texture, flexibility, and whether material is a solid or liquid), and 2.5C (demonstrate that things can be done to materials to change their physical properties such as cutting, folding, sanding, and melting).
Students will begin by identifying physical properties of an orange sheet of construction paper, and then change it (folding and cutting) to create something new (a pumpkin).
The only materials required are orange construction paper, scissors, and glue.
