I use this with all of my elementary classes. It's a great class incentive and is SPORTS themed! All you have to do is print this out on (Foam Board at Kinkos) and post within your gymnasium. I purchased velcro and cut them and placed them on the bases. Each teacher has a "baseball cleat," with their last name on it. Move the baseball cleat around the bases whenever the class is properly behaving and participating! If any students are not following directions or participating then the cleat can get moved back to a previous base. If the cleat makes it to "HOME," the next day the class gets to choose which activity they would like the play for that day. KIDS LOVE THIS INCENTIVE
Example of when I move the teachers baseball cleat:
1) Warm up activity - are all students following directions are participating in a safe and appropriate manner? If yes move the baseball cleat to second base.
2) Introduction to the main activity - are all students have their listening ears and watching how to perform a certain skill and the rules of the game? If so, then move the baseball cleat to the next base.
3) Main activity - are all students participating and following the rules of the game? If so then move the baseball cleat to the next base.
4) Clean up/Review - are the students working together when cleaning up equipment? Are the students listening and paying attention to any activity recall Q&A we may have? If so, then move the baseball cleat to the next base.
