With a Teaching Games for Understanding approach in mind, this manual include 200+ games. It includes descriptions and examples of basic terms used within the games that have been retrieved from the Alberta Program of Studies. It also includes a variety of teaching cues that go along with locomotor movements and manipulative skills. The games portion is divided into a variety of categories including: tag games, spatial awareness games, throwing/catching games, dodge ball games, cooperative team games, basketball related games, net games, fitness games, scooter games, relays, and parachute games. Within each game description, I have broken it down into suggested grade level, modifications, equipment needed, set-up, and description/objective. Games were retrieved from a variety of sources cited at the bottom, along with from multiple teachers and schools I have taught at.
