This guide is my Physical Education Year Overview.
My K-2 classes are focused on skill development. I have 1 hour sessions with my students and I divide this into 2 components.The 1st 1/2 hour has a specific skill which is incorporated through the use of minor games. The 2nd 1/2 hour I use a range of skill-based tabloids (also available on TpT) to keep the students in touch with previous sklls taught.
My 3-6 classes have a more sport-specific focus. In the 1st 1/2 hour the students are directly involved in skill development. The 2nd 1/2 hour we play a modified game of the specific sport which involves all students. The games are designed to be very inclusive and give all students a fair go no matter of skill level.
