A perfect addition to a unit on properties of matter/ properties of materials. Students classify objects by their observable physical properties, and then record data on the number of objects in the groups they create.
Students will fill in the booklet for seven properties classifications: color, shape, luster, size, texture, weight and flexibility. This can be done individually, in partners, or in small groups.
Included are two differentiated levels of the same activity booklet for various learners. Additionally, there is a picture vocabulary sheet included that can be used as a support resource for students who are between levels.
