Great physical property activity. Use this hands on cut and paste student experience to introduce, review or reinforce fourteen important physical properties of matter.
In this activity students, will match picture examples and definitions to fourteen observable physical properties of matter. Older elementary and middle school students love using scissors and paste instead of a standard worksheet. As students place and paste they are learning in a concrete and fun way. Students can complete this activity independently or in a group.
This is an introductory lesson and not intended for HS chemistry students.

For each property, there is a picture example and a definition for students to cut out and place in the included handout. The fourteen physical properties covered are: Physical Properties, Viscosity, Freezing Point, State of Matter, Luster, Ductility, Volume, Buoyance, Conductor, Magnetic, Mixture, Density, Solubility, Malleability.
