Introduce students to the Canadian physical regions using this flip book. Students write facts learned through inquiry or research in the flip book. Use the categories printed on the flip book pages (physical features, vegetation, rocks and minerals, illustration) or write your own categories in with a pen on the blank version. The flip book is easy to cut out and assemble. Looks great on a bulletin board too!
Great Lake - St. Lawrence
Hudson Bat Lowlands
**UPDATE**March 2017 - I've added a Paper-Saver Version of the flip book. This version has two flip book pages per sheet of paper. There is only one cover choice for this version (students will colour in the regions)

Physical Regions of Canada Bundle
**Note: This includes the PHYSICAL REGIONS OF CANADA FLIP BOOK ONLY. YOU need to provided the information.** In my classroom I have students study maps, textbooks and use the internet to look at photos of the regions to complete the flip book.
You can choose to print the cover of the book in colour, grey scale or have students colour each region themselves.
Inside the flip book is 8 tabbed pages — one for each of Canada’s regions. All inside pages feature black and white maps only.
There are two versions of the pages for inside the book:
1. Version 1 has preprinted categories for students to fill in
(vegetation, physical features, rock and mineral types and
illustration). I also allow students to draw pictures in the boxes
as well as write words and notes as I find this helps students
really remember the information they are finding. For instance
when students find that an area has mixed forest, I have them
draw a mini forest of both evergreen and deciduous trees.
2. Version 2 has pages without the categories listed so that you
may handwrite in your own categories.
