The Physical Science 12 Days of Homework consists of 12 different mini-assignments for students to complete before going on Christmas break. I begin assigning this review (1 day at at time) about 3 weeks before my students go on Christmas break, with them being required to turn them in all 12 days (in order and with cover sheet on top) before we go on break. It is a great way for us to briefly summarize the work we have done from August through December without utilizing class time. Students "love to hate" the Physical Science 12 days of homework...It always shock them when I tell them they will have homework for the next 12 days of school (it's hilarious to see their faces) but the assignments are very brief only about 5-10 questions on average. They even like the goofy song that goes along with it.
The 12 days of homework review the following Physical Science concepts:
Day 3-Newton's Laws
Day 4-Force Diagrams
Day 9-Various Questions
Day 11-Gravitational Potential Energy
Day 12-Science Terms
