This is a PowerPoint I created to start off each class period in my Physical Science class. Students are responsible for writing and answering the questions at the start of each class and then we go over the answers as a class. Each Friday I take the Science Starters for the week up for a daily grade.
Since this is the actual PowerPoint I used in class, my questions are divided up by chapter. Yours may be different if you use a different book so feel free to change up the order of the slides or change a few questions to meet your own classroom needs. Please don't give this file to another teacher (direct them to my store page) or try to resell a slightly different version as your own though. THANKS!
Most of the questions pertain to Physical Science, however, there are a few randomly placed Life Science or Earth Science questions throughout. Also, since metric conversions are an important part of Physical Science, these questions have been included throughout the entire PowerPoint, not just the chapter on measurement.
There are a total of 152 slides of questions for a total of 760 questions. This should be enough to get you through most, if not your entire, school year.
I have also included an answer document in Microsoft word format.
