This is my Science Vocabulary Observations. Students are prompted to make direct observations from a picture, then they use science vocabulary to explain the science behind each picture. There is a student page followed by a large picture that can be presented on a document camera or on the projector. Use these as a preview to a new concept for class discussions or as a review or formative assessment after a concept has been taught. They will really help you determine if a student understands the concept through vocabulary and explanations.
15 physical science topics covered:
Use of energy, circuits, types of circuits, series or parallel, white light, reflection, refraction, transparent/translucent/opaque, light behavior, force and motion, friction, gravity, pulleys, pushes and pulls, and motion.
I hope you find this useful and enjoy it!
