This is a comprehensive end-of-the-year review project for 8th grade physical science. Why review to the students? Why not engage the students by having them review back to you and each other? Students in teams are given unit questions that they review and research. They create a concept map, powerpoint presentation, and more. I did this method twice with my students and it worked great. They create a powerpoint and other items and present it back to the class. They learn one unit really well and review with the class. Students also rate or assess each other (this sheet is not included). I found this activity took 3.5 days in the computer room and then I did about two teams per day for presentations. This download comes with seven unit questions handouts, Grading Rubric, instructions for students and a team sheet. Each unit has about the same amount of questions. Sheets are simple to modify for your needs. I had pictures on each sheet but could not up load them. This also comes with a grading rubric. This is simple idea and it works great! This worked so well that I even had the principal observe me in June!
