Product Description
This is one of my favorite activities! It is so exciting and has major wow factor. The activity can be done as a teacher demonstration, or working in lab groups. In this grades 3-5 version, students learn about physical and chemical changes with this fun reaction!

In this activity, a solution of yeast is mixed with a solution of hydrogen peroxide, food coloring and dish soap. The substances react vigorously to release a gas which bubbles out quickly pushing foam out of the bottle resembling giant toothpaste.

This product is part of a K-8 grade level bundle including the scientific method, chemical and physical changes, and chemical reactions. Great if you teach multiple grade levels!
