This lab activity puts your students into the roles of CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) scientists as they use Physical and Chemical Properties to solve a crime.
A millionaire has had her beloved necklace stolen, but who took it? A mysterious white powder is left behind at the scene of the crime and four suspects with motives are named. By comparing the Physical and Chemical Properties of powders associated with the four suspects, your scientists will determine ONE guilty suspect.
This lab activity includes a role playing PowerPoint, detailed directions, placemat, lab sheet and key.
