The lesson is scaffolded to even the most basic level, and the scaffolds can easily be adjusted for differentiation. The folder contains guided notes (in multiple formats), PowerPoint and homework. This lesson take students through basic, linear W=F*d calculations. It also introduces the ideas and mathematics behind negative, positive and zero work. In my own classroom, the day after this lesson I introduce work at an angle ( F*d*cos(theta) ).
